Turkish bath
The Turkish bath is normally conceived as a moment of socializing and relaxation, often associated with massages. the environment in which it takes place is saturated with water vapour (100% humidity), forming a fog with stratified temperatures (from 20/25°C at foot level to 40/50°C at head height) which, settling on the skin, encourages perspiration. Perspiration, generally less intense than in a sauna, is more than compensated by generally longer periods of stay. The introduction of steam enriched with scented essences into the environment determines a greater emotional and sensorial involvement of the client in the event, increasing the results and beneficial effects of the treatment. The Turkish bath, with its humid steam, dilates the pores, purifying the skin and dilating the airways.
